I guess we'll see Friday what the lawsuit says. I know there is one fight that the DEA always backs away from, and that's openly arresting medical marijuana patients. The DEA always says they don't target patients. They do that because they know it will create an uproar across the nation if the DEA has the image of targeting the sick and vulnerable patients in 16 states.

The fed's threats of arresting Arizona elected officials will only create a bad image for the feds. Maybe it will be their last battle in the war on drugs, which is actually a war on our fellow citizens that smoke marijuana, but who are otherwise law abiding.

Also exactly what needs clarification? Marijuana has been illegal to prescribe as medicine since the feds illegitimately removed it from the pharmacopeia in the 1940's. California patients have been acting in a state of civil disobedience for 15 years.

How long before one of these cannabis friendly lawyers starts filing suits against the governor in behave of patients granted a card to a program that promised a service that was never delivered.

My opinion is the states are free to create any law they want, and the only supreme law is the constitution. So unless there are constitutional reasons prop 203 won't work, it's a valid law.

You'll notice that nowhere does it state that Brewer is going to return the money that was paid out to get the Medical Marijuana card. So now they're not only keeping it, they're making interest on it! All she wants is to get her name in the news again!
